Sony FS7 & Sony PXW-FS7 mark ii lightweight plate

This small baseplate was designed to be used with the Sony FS7 or FS7M2camera shoulder pad. Compact and lightweight, this is a perfect baseplate for arun & gun solution for your FS7 or FS7M2. This plate will allow you tomount different accessories with the front rods, and you can use the standardArri rosette on each side to attach a remote extension handle (FS7LWBR) or atelescopic handle with our red Push-Button technology (HAND3).

Underneath is a ‘delta’ quick release wedge which is fully compatible with all standard ‘VCT’ tripod adaptor plates. The wedge can be removed to expose standard 1/4″ and 3/8″ threads for mounting on other tripod plates.

Sony FS7 remote extension handle

The Sony FS7 remote extension handle from SHAPE offers an adjustable arm extension (2 inches) for the side hand grip provided with the Sony FS7. The extendable arm is equipped with a ratchet key to easily adjust the length of the arm. It is designed with Arri rosettes to mount on the camera or baseplate with standard ARRI rosettes. It also features SHAPE’s patented Push-Button technology for easy angle adjustment and 360-degree rotation.

SHAPE is well known for its patented Push-button system, now used by so many professionals in the industry. The technology was developed to give filmmakers quick and easy adjustment. By simply pressing the button, you are allowed a 360-degree rotation to place the remote extension handle in the best position for your use. Push, adjust, release, and then its lock.

Sony FS7, FS7M2 top plate

The Top Plate is specially designed for the Sony FS7and FS7M2 cameras. It is thin and lightweight, but sturdy and durable, made ofCNC aluminum. It is also designed with multiple 1/4-20 & 3/8-16 threadedholes, giving you the possibility to attach many accessories. 

The installation is very simple,  you simply have to remove the screw holding the handle on the camera, and insert the top plate from the front side of the handle. The Top Plate can be strongly secured with (4) 1/4-20 screws included with the package.
