Add accessories and handheld functionality to your SonyPXW-FX9 camera with this Pro Shoulder Rig Kit from SHAPE. This kit includes ashoulder mount baseplate with 15mm rod system, a top plate, a rear insertplate, and a rosette handle with black push-button.

The baseplate includes an integrated shoulder mount that allows you to convert your tripod-mounted camera into a handheld shoulder rig. The rear insert plate attaches to the rear of the camera to support it on the baseplate. The 15mm rods allow you to mount additional accessories like a matte box and follow focus. The push-button handle attaches to the baseplate and can rotate using the rosette joints for the most comfortable position.

SonyFX9 V-Lock quick release baseplate

The FX9 baseplate is designed to match the Sony FX9optical center. The bracket system with magnet let you swivel the baseplate tothe left for easy access to the camera screws. It is designed with 2standard Arri rosettes for handles or accessories mount. The quick releaseadapter plate is compatible with most VCT tripod plate and there is also aprotective rubber pads on top of the plate to protect your camera.

Two 15 mmlightweight rod blocs can be fixed to the front and rear of the baseplate,allowing you to install more camera accessories. The safety ratchet knobs arebuilt in a way to apply an optimal pressure to the rods. The thick shoulder padproduces maximum comfort and is made of gel padding and slip-free material.

The baseplate is also designed with a sophisticated tool box to store your extra screws and Allen key. Quick access to your extra screws and Allen key can be a time saver, even more so, when you are in the middle of a shoot. The shoulder plate is equipped with 1/4-20 & 3/8-16 threaded holes allowing extra screws to be stored and there is a magnet at the back to attach your Allen key.

Sony FX9 rear insertPlate

The rear insert plate is a CNC aluminum support plate compatible with the Sony FX9 camera. The plate mounts to the camera body via three M4 mounting screws. The center of the plate is designed with (3) 3/8-16 and (3) 1/4-20 threaded holes for tripod mount. The large surface of the plate also provides necessary support when the camera is mount to a tripod or a shoulder mount.

Sony FX9 Top Plate

Lightweight and robust CNC machined aluminum top platedesigned to fit around the native Sony FX9 top handle. The top plate offers anarray of (12) 1/4-20 and (12) 3/8-16 threads with Arri standard anti-rotatingholes, which can be used to attach options around the camera. The Sony FX9 topplate is also designed with a threaded hole to insert your FX9 sensor pin andyour FX9 viewfinder cable clamp.
