B&W Outdoor Case Type 4000 for DJI Avata – Custom Foam Insert for Secure Transport

Protect your DJI Avata during travel with the B&W outdoor.case 4000. This hard case comes with a blue/black customised foam insert and a lid document pocket. It fits the DJI Avata, DJI Avata Smart Combo or DJI Avata Pro-View Combo and offers storage for additional equipment such as the Fly More Set.

Custom foam insert and battery capacity

The tailored foam insert secures the drone and accessories in place. Depending on how you configure the inserts, the case can safely transport up to 6 drone battery packs (including one installed in the copter) and up to 3 batteries for the Goggles (one placed in the goggles). The cut foam keeps components from shifting during transit.

Protection and environmental resistance

B&W designed the case to protect sensitive equipment from common outdoor hazards. The case is dustproof, waterproof and shockproof, and it protects gear against snow, hail and rain. It performs across a wide temperature range and remains temperature stable from -30° C up to +80° C.

The case is impact- and shockproof to help your drone survive accidental drops. Built from durable polypropylene (PP), it provides a robust outer shell for repeated use.

Certifications and air transport features

The outdoor.case 4000 meets several recognised standards for transport cases, including MIL-STD-810, STANAG 4280, DEF STAN 81-41 and ATA 300. It includes an automatic pressure compensation valve for airworthy transport and carries an IP67 rating for strong dust and waterproof performance.

Design, handling and security

The case includes practical design details for everyday use. A rubberised handle offers a secure grip while carrying. Two eyelets for padlocks (Ø 7.0 mm) let you add locks to protect against unauthorized access. The case is stackable and features specifically developed snap locks for comfortable opening and closing. A name tag is integrated for easy identification.

Inside, the base contains the customised foam insert and the lid holds a document pocket, which keeps manuals and documents accessible and protected.
