Movement, dive and camera control

Dory uses five propellers to control its movement in the water. Two propellers drive forward/backward motion and enable sideways steering. The remaining three propellers adjust dive depth and dive angle. The drone offers a lockable dive angle that can hold the camera at a +/- 45 degree angle. This lets you point the camera downward toward the bottom or upward toward a hull while the drone moves horizontally. In addition, Dory has a depth lock so it can hover steadily at a chosen depth.

App and imaging options

The Chasing Dory app is available for both iOS and Android. The app includes 19 built-in filters for different image effects and makes it possible to share captured content directly to social media.
