The CHASING M2 Pro is a professional underwater ROV built for industrial applications and professional users. It delivers OMNI-directional movement through an 8-vectored-thruster layout, and it includes a 200m tether in the package for immediate deployment.
The M2 Pro uses eight vectored thrusters that allow precise OMNI movement in all directions. Compared to the CHASING M2, the M2 Pro motors have been upgraded by 50%, which improves thrust and responsiveness. The ROV reaches a maximum speed of 4 knots, and it is rated to operate to a depth of 150 meters. When fitted with an optional 400m cable, the M2 Pro can achieve a maximum horizontal radius of up to 400 meters.
The M2 Pro supports a hybrid power supply that accepts both AC and battery power. This hybrid configuration enables continuous operation when AC power is available and allows extended or effectively unlimited runtime when used with a sustained AC source. Additionally, the unit uses a removable battery for portable missions when AC is not available.
The ROV integrates a built-in camera capable of 4K and 1080p video and 12-megapixel stills with EIS (electronic image stabilization). For low-light or detailed inspections, the M2 Pro provides powerful 4000-lumen LED lights. The system also supports a removable Micro SD memory card for onboard recording and includes a 128GB MicroSD card in the box.
The M2 Pro works with a range of attachments and enhanced accessories. It is compatible with grabber claw, floodlight, laser scaler and other mission-specific tools. Furthermore, it supports optional accessories such as a high-brightness Control Console (screen), docking station, USBL underwater positioning, a 700Wh battery, multibeam sonar, and an auxiliary camera. These options expand the ROV’s use cases for inspection, survey and light industrial tasks.
The ROV features a compact aluminum-alloy body that weighs less than 6 kg. Because of its compact, lightweight design, a single person can handle and operate the system. Moreover, the M2 Pro allows quick deployment — it can be prepared and launched in about three minutes.
The package includes a 200m tether and winder, enabling immediate operations without purchasing additional cable. If needed, an optional 400m tether can be used to extend the horizontal working radius up to 400 meters.
