Datavideo TLM-700UHD 7" Monitor — 4K 50/60p UHD input on a 7" Full HD panel

The Datavideo TLM-700UHD accepts 4K 50/60p inputs and displays them on a 7" Full HD LCD. It supports both DCI 4K and Ultra HD signal inputs and outputs, while using a 1920x1080 panel that provides a wide 170° viewing angle for versatile on-set monitoring.

Key features at a glance

  • Accepts 4K 50/60p input and supports DCI 4K and Ultra HD signals.
  • 7" LCD monitor with a native 1920x1080 Full HD panel and a 170° viewing angle.
  • Simple connectivity with 1x HDMI input and HDMI loop-out.
  • Image-assist tools including focus peaking in red/green/blue, over-exposure analysis, and color field checking.
  • Screen flip for vertical and horizontal rotation, suitable for tripods, arms, and cages.
  • Zoom options at 1.5x, 2x, 3x, and 4x for detailed image inspection.
  • Safety marker and aspect marker presets for framing and post-production simulation.

Inputs, outputs and camera compatibility

The TLM-700UHD provides a straightforward input/output configuration with one HDMI input and an HDMI loop-out. As a result, you can feed 4K or UHD signals into the monitor and pass a clean signal downstream. Additionally, the monitor works with DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and camcorders, which makes it useful for a wide range of production setups.

Image tools for fast and accurate monitoring

Datavideo built practical monitoring tools into the TLM-700UHD to speed up shooting and checking footage. For focus control, the monitor offers fast and accurate peaking with selectable red, green, or blue profiles so operators can instantly determine correct focus. Peaking zones appear during shooting, recording, and playback.

For exposure and color work, the monitor includes over-exposure analysis to reveal overly bright areas and a color field checking mode that can display monochrome or red/green/blue-only views for easier color recognition and correction.

Framing, zoom and orientation

You can zoom in at 1.5x, 2x, 3x, or 4x to inspect fine image details and make quick adjustments. The screen flip function supports both vertical and horizontal rotation, which is convenient for mounting on tripods, arms, or cages and for viewing from multiple angles.

The safety marker and aspect marker features simulate post-production cropping and framing. Safety marker options include 95%, 93%, 90%, 88%, 85%, and 80%. Aspect marker presets include 16:9, 1.85:1, 2.35:1, 4:3, and 3:2, and vertical mode is also supported.
