The FEELWORLD FT6 transmitter and FR6 receiver combine a wireless video transmitter and a high-quality HD monitor into a single, portable monitoring solution. This all-in-one setup delivers cable-free monitoring for directors and photographers, supporting live streaming and on-set monitoring with clear images and very low delay.
The FT6 and FR6 pair to form an integrated wireless monitor kit. They use 2x2 dBi antenna technology together with H.264 encoding and decoding for professional image processing. At the same time, the FR6 can receive HD wireless signals from the FT6 transmitter. This design gives you mobility on set while maintaining professional video processing.
Both units keep a slim profile despite the built-in wireless module. The monitor measures 5.5 inches and weighs approximately 370g, making it suitable for mobile shooting and handheld or rig-mounted setups.
The system offers up to 800ft (approximately 250m LOS) transmission range and ultra-low latency of 0.07s (70ms). You get 11 selectable channels to help maintain a stable picture in crowded RF environments. The system also supports WPS pairing for fast connections: press WPS for about one second to start pairing when you change transmitter or receiver units.
The FT6 + FR6 support common HD formats including 1080P60, 1080P50, 1080i60 and 1080i50. Both transmitter and receiver include HDMI input and HDMI output, so you can display live signals and simultaneously send them to other monitors without losing original video quality. The FR6 can output received video through HDMI OUT for synchronized monitoring by director and photographer.
The 5.5" IPS screen features a 1920x1080 resolution and about 400 pixels per inch. It provides a wide 160° viewing angle for easier off-axis monitoring. The monitor includes Rec.709 color calibration and a built-in 3D LUT system to reduce color cast and produce consistent color across monitors.
The FT6 and FR6 feature an interactive touchscreen for intuitive setup and operation. Use tap and swipe gestures to access settings, and two-finger zoom to magnify the image. Physical controls remain available: a tap/rotate wheel for quick selection and a power switch that can disable the touch function to prevent accidental changes.
The monitor OS includes an extensive suite of tools for focus, framing and exposure. These tools are one touch away and help you quickly evaluate image quality on set:
FT6 and FR6 support 3D LUTs to preview looks on set. You can use the four built-in LOG-to-Rec.709 conversions or upload custom .cube files. The monitor accepts up to 50 user LUT files internally. Each LUT file must not exceed 7.9M and supported LUT_3D_SIZE values include 16, 17, 32, 33, 64 and 65. Load LUTs via the Type-C USB interface and switch between looks instantly to maintain your creative intent.
The monitors include HDR and Log compatibility to simplify shooting workflows. Built-in HDR options include HLG 2020, HLG 709 and HLG P3 HDR 3D LUTs, plus Rec709 De-slog3 LUTs. The system also includes support for camera log formats such as SLOG2, SLOG3, LOGC and VLOG to help replicate post-production workflows during capture.
Both the transmitter and receiver provide HDMI IN and HDMI OUT interfaces to route video to multiple displays. The monitor also includes a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack for audio monitoring. Use these connections to integrate the FT6+FR6 into multi-monitor setups or to send the signal onward while keeping the original quality.
The units provide DC OUT 8V to power compatible DSLR or mirrorless cameras when used with a separately available battery adapter cable. The barrel output can power cameras with appropriate DC couplers (examples listed by camera OEM in the original documentation). Note that camera power needs vary by model; for reliable operation we recommend using a fully charged, large-capacity battery when powering both monitor and camera.
FT6 and FR6 support a dual Sony F970 battery configuration or a 12V universal power supply. The rear of each monitor features two battery slots for Sony L-series batteries, allowing hot-swap operation without interrupting monitoring. Double-click the battery icon on-screen to switch between installed batteries after about three seconds. One F970 battery (6600mAh) provides about 2 hours of runtime; installing two F970 batteries extends runtime to roughly 4–5 hours. Batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.
When both battery plates are populated, the monitor displays battery status in the upper right corner: white indicates the active battery and gray indicates the inactive battery. The monitor will show a red prompt when battery level is low, prompting timely replacement to avoid interruption.
These units target film crews, directors and photographers who need reliable wireless monitoring with low latency and flexible monitoring tools. The 800ft range and 0.07s latency, together with advanced scopes and LUT support, make the system suitable for professional on-set monitoring and live video transmission.
