The FEELWORLD CUT6 combines on-set monitoring and real-time recording in one portable 6-inch touchscreen monitor. It records 1080P30 HD video in MP4 via USB2.0 and can record with LUT applied, making it suitable for creators who need quick turnaround for social media clips, behind-the-scenes tidbits, or on-the-go production work.
The CUT6 features a 6-inch 1920x1080 full HD IPS touch screen with 8-bit color depth. The high resolution delivers detailed images and richer color, so you can confidently check focus, exposure and composition on a compact display.
Unlike common monitors, the CUT6 can record the HDMI input directly to a USB flash drive. It captures up to 1080P30 in MP4 format over HDMI using a USB2.0 connection. Simply plug a FAT32-formatted USB flash disk into the monitor and press the red recording key to start. Recording time depends on the storage capacity. For example, a one-hour live broadcast recording consumes about 1860M of memory.
When the LUT function is enabled, CUT6 records with the LUT effect baked in. This lets you finish simple content faster and reduces later color-grading steps, especially useful for quick social posts or daily content where speed matters.
The monitor accepts HDMI 2.0 input and supports 4K 60Hz signals. HDMI output follows HDMI 1.4 standards and supports up to 1080p60. The HDMI loop-out can output the image with LUT applied, which is helpful for live streaming (output a cinematic look to the platform) or for on-set review by directors and clients via a wireless link.
Note: With 1080i input, there may be a missing pixel at the edge of the image in certain panoramic frames; this usually does not affect normal use.
The CUT6 offers multiple power choices. It includes a DC OUT (8.4V) barrel output to power many DSLR and mirrorless cameras via compatible battery adapter cables (e.g., NP-FW50 Sony, LP-E6 Canon, DMW-BLF19 Panasonic). Use of a large-capacity, fully charged battery is recommended to ensure normal camera operation.
It also supports a DC 12V input (12V/1.5A adapter can be used) and features a Sony F970-style battery plate on the rear. The plate is compatible with Sony F970, F960, F950, F930, F770, F750, F730, F570, F550 and F530 batteries (battery not included).
The body measures 2.3cm thick and the monitor weighs approximately 230g, making it easy to mount on camera rigs, gimbals, or magic arms for run-and-gun shooting. The CUT6 includes three standard 1/4" mounting threads (top, bottom, right side) for flexible installation and supports both horizontal and vertical monitoring.
The supplied mini hot shoe mount adapter features 180° viewing at the upper joint and 360° rotation at the base for quick attachment and versatile positioning. The mount allows fast release and attachment of the monitor, LED lights, microphones, or other accessories.
The CUT6 runs a full touchscreen UI with a new iconized menu that makes values and settings easier to read at a glance. You can use simple tap and swipe gestures for the main monitoring functions or operate via the top rotary wheel.
Basic touch instructions:
The CUT6 includes an adjustable built-in cooling fan with low, middle and high speed settings to help manage heat during extended shooting sessions.
The flexible video OS includes an extensive suite of scopes and monitoring tools for focus, framing and exposure. Tools include waveform (RGB/YUV), RGB parade, vectorscope, RGB histogram, Y histogram, embedded audio level/phase, focus peaking, zoom, zebra, false color, safe frames and more. These can be opened individually or with one key to enable all scopes at once, making the CUT6 suitable for live production monitoring without separate expensive scopes.
The monitor also supports HDR monitoring to deliver increased dynamic range and restore true color. Available HDR modes include HLG2020, HLG709 and HLG P3.
The CUT6 supports a flexible 3D LUT implementation. You can use the built-in LOG-to-Rec.709 options or upload .cube files. The monitor accepts up to 50 custom LUT files internally and lets you load them via the micro SD card slot for instant selection in the field.
The CUT6 records HDMI-embedded audio and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio monitoring on set.
