Feelworld FW1018 V1 10.1" IPS 1920x1200 Monitor – Large on-camera display with built-in image analysis tools

The Feelworld FW1018SPV1 (FW1018 V1) is a 10.1" IPS on-camera monitor designed to expand your camera’s viewfinder into a larger, clearer display. It uses a 1920x1200 panel and offers several image measurement tools so you can check focus, exposure and framing directly on the monitor. Many photographers and videographers choose FEELWORLD for its combination of essential features and competitive price-quality balance.

Clear, consistent image from any angle

The FW1018 V1 uses an IPS panel to deliver consistent images across wide viewing angles. With a 170° horizontal and vertical viewing angle, the monitor shows accurate and bright images even when you view it from the side. It produces a brightness of 320cd/m² and an 800:1 contrast ratio, helping you see details and tonal differences that are harder to read on smaller built-in camera screens.

Multiple inputs and outputs for flexible camera connections

This monitor supports a range of connections so you can work with DSLRs and HD video cameras. It accepts HDMI, YPbPr and composite video inputs as well as stereo audio inputs. In addition, it offers loop-through outputs so you can feed the signal on to other monitors or recorders.

  • Input types: HDMI, Y, Pb, Pr, Video, Audio (L/R)
  • Output types: HDMI, Y, Pb, Pr, Video (loop-through)
  • Audio options: stereo headphone output and an internal speaker

Advanced image tools for on-set analysis

The FW1018 V1 includes multiple professional image measurement and assist functions. These tools help you monitor sharpness, exposure and color and make decisions on set without relying solely on the camera’s smaller screen. The functions are assignable to six front-panel function buttons for quick access during a shoot.

  • Focus Assist (Peaking) — highlights sharp edges and allows outline color selection (red, green, blue)
  • Brightness Histogram — shows distribution of brightness levels
  • Exposure (Zebra) — visual exposure warning patterns
  • False Color — visual exposure mapping
  • Check Field — mono and color channels (Mono/Red/Green/Blue)
  • Centre Marker and Screen Marker options (80%, 85%, 90%, 93%, 96%, 2.35:1)
  • Camera 5D II Mode — monitor framing emulation for Canon 5D II users
  • Image Freeze, Image Flip (H, V, H/V), Pixel-to-Pixel Mode
  • Zoom All, U/D & L/R Zoom, 4:3 & 16:9 image adjustment
  • Tally Indicator — front display to show camera status

Peaking focus assist and color options

The built-in peaking filter helps you achieve the sharpest possible image. When activated, the monitor highlights edges where focus is highest. You can change the peaking outline color between red, green and blue to suit different subject tones and lighting conditions.

3-color tally light controlled via DB-9

The FW1018 V1 includes front-facing tally lights with three colors. You control the tally via a DB-9 input on the rear panel, which makes it suitable for multi-camera setups or studio control systems that use DB-9 tally signals.

Flexible power options and battery plate support

You can power the monitor via a 4-pin XLR connector or with the included 12V DC power adapter. For battery operation, the unit supports a range of battery plates so you can choose the mounting style that fits your workflow.

  • Power inputs: 4-pin XLR, 12V DC (included adapter)
  • Supported battery plates: F970, LP-E6, D28S, Anton, Sony V-mount plates
