Feelworld Monitor FW568S 6" Full HD DSLR Camera Field Monitor — SDI & 4K HDMI with F970 External Power Kit

The FEELWORLD FW568S is a 6-inch Full HD field monitor designed for filmmakers and DSLR/mirrorless shooters who need clear monitoring, flexible power options, and professional tools on set. It combines 3G-SDI and 4K HDMI input/output interfaces with a rear-mounted Sony F970 external install and power kit. As a result, you can attach and power accessories like wireless transmitters or LED lights directly to the monitor and reduce cable clutter.

Full HD LCD Panel — Clear detail for confident framing

The FW568S features a Full HD 1920x1080 LCD panel that delivers sharp detail and richer color reproduction. This clarity helps you check focus and composition on every shot, whether you are mounting the monitor to a camera, gimbal, or rig.

Compact and Portable — Ideal for gimbal and run-and-gun shoots

This monitor targets shooters who need a lightweight, easy-to-use on-camera display. The FW568S is especially suitable for use with gimbals and for crews working on the move, including photographers and 1st ACs who need to reposition quickly on set. The compact size keeps your setup low-profile and unobtrusive.

Wheel Button Operation and New UI Menu — Fast, intuitive control

The FW568S uses a scroll wheel button operation combined with a new UI layout. The software functions appear as icons and numerical values are easy to read at a glance. With the wheel and a single control key, you can complete settings quickly and accurately, improving efficiency during shoots.

Innovative External Install and Power Kit — Simplify your equipment

The rear of the monitor includes a Sony F970 external install and power kit. You can use this kit to mount and power external devices such as wireless video transmitters, LED lights, or converters. The kit features two cross slots so you can adjust the position of the accessory by loosening screws. When you no longer need the kit, simply loosen the screws and remove it. This design reduces the space and weight taken up by additional gear.

SDI and 4K HDMI Input/Output — Support for multiple cameras and monitoring roles

FW568S provides 3G-SDI and 4K HDMI input/output connections so it works with film cameras, DSLRs, and mirrorless cameras. It supports up to 4K@30Hz input, which lets you feed high-resolution signals into the monitor and pass them through to another device. Multiple outputs allow simultaneous monitoring by directors, photographers, and the 1st AC. The monitor also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio monitoring.

DC Power Out and Camera Powering — Extend camera runtime

The FW568S offers DC OUT 8V to power compatible DSLR or mirrorless cameras. With a separately available battery adapter cable you can extend your camera's runtime using the monitor’s battery. The monitor also provides a barrel output for powering cameras using DC couplers (examples noted in manufacturer materials include NP-FW50 for Sony, LP-E6 for Canon, and DMW-BLF19 for Panasonic). More adapters are planned but sold separately.

Important note: Different camera models require different voltages and currents for normal operation. Therefore, powering a camera through the monitor may not guarantee full camera functionality for all models. When using batteries to power the monitor and camera, the manufacturer recommends using a large-capacity fully charged battery to help ensure normal camera operation.

Multiple Power Supply Modes — Flexible on-location options

You can power the FW568S in several ways. It accepts DC 12V input (for example via a 12V/1.5A adapter), it features a Sony F970 battery plate, and it supports 5V Type‑C input that can be used with mobile phone chargers or power banks (minimum 5V/2A recommended). The monitor is compatible with Sony F series batteries including F970, F960, F950, F930, F770, F750, F730, F570, F550, and F530. Note that batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.

Professional Monitoring Tools — Technical scopes and creative LUT support

The FW568S includes a wide set of monitoring tools that help you judge exposure, focus, and color on set. These tools include histogram, false color, focus assist, embedded audio display, pixel-to-pixel, frame guides, and a nine-grid overlay. The monitor also features a flexible 3D LUT implementation: use the built-in LOG to Rec.709 conversion or upload .cube files to preview looks in the field.

Load Custom 3D LUTs — Preview your look on set

You can load up to 32 custom LUT files internally. Use the built-in LOG-to-Rec.709 conversion or upload .cube files via the TYPE‑C to USB connector. Once loaded, you can instantly select and switch between LUTs to maintain creative intent and preview grading looks during production.

Accurate Waveform Monitoring — Broadcast-style scopes without extra gear

When you need to analyze image quality beyond what you see on the display, the FW568S provides waveform monitoring including RGB Parade, YUV Parade, and Y Parade, as well as vector scope, histogram, audio phase and level displays. The scope functions can open individually or all at once with a single key. This makes the monitor suitable for live production monitoring where separate expensive scopes would otherwise be required.

Convenient Mounting — Supplied Tilt Arm and versatile rotation

Each FW568S ships with a cold-shoe mounted tilt arm so you can position the monitor securely while keeping a low profile. The monitor can rotate 360 degrees in two different ways for flexible viewing:

  1. The monitor can be rotated 360 degrees from up to down through the side mounting point of the tilt arm.
  2. The monitor can be rotated 360 degrees from left to right through the bottom mounting point of the tilt arm.
  • Secure and lightweight mounting via shoe mount or 1/4"-20 thread
  • Includes a shoe mount of its own for accessories like a microphone, LED light, or wireless receiver, etc.
  • There are two small dots on the tilt arm, which are aligned with the monitor for installation, the connection is more stable, just grab the monitor to rotate without loosening the screws.

Multiple Installation Methods — Fit your preferred rig

The monitor features three standard 1/4" mounting threads (top, bottom, and right side). These mounting points let you attach the monitor to cameras, magic arms, brackets, or other support hardware for both horizontal and vertical shooting. This flexibility ensures you can accurately monitor the image regardless of your setup.

FAQ

Question: Can the FW568S power my DSLR or mirrorless camera directly?
Answer: Yes, the monitor provides a DC OUT 8V barrel output that can power some DSLR and mirrorless cameras when used with the appropriate adapter cable or DC coupler. However, camera power requirements vary by model. The monitor manufacturer notes that not all cameras will operate normally when powered this way, so they recommend using a large-capacity fully charged battery and checking compatibility for your specific camera model.

Question: How do I mount accessories like a wireless transmitter or LED light on the monitor?
Answer: The FW568S includes a Sony F970 external install and power kit on the rear that lets you attach external equipment and supply power from the F970 battery. The kit has two cross slots to adjust accessory position and can be removed by loosening screws when not needed. Additionally, the monitor includes a shoe mount for accessories and multiple 1/4" mounting threads for different installation methods.

Question: Can I preview LUTs and film looks on location?
Answer: Yes. The monitor supports built-in LOG-to-Rec.709 conversion and allows you to upload up to 32 custom .cube LUT files via the Type‑C to USB connector. You can switch among these LUTs on the fly to preview grading looks during shooting.

Question: Does the monitor offer professional scopes for broadcast-style monitoring?
Answer: Yes. The FW568S includes waveform monitoring (RGB Parade, YUV Parade, Y Parade), vectorscope, histogram, and audio phase and level displays. You can open these scopes individually or use a single key to open all scope modes for comprehensive technical monitoring without separate equipment.

Question: Is the monitor suitable for gimbal use and mobile setups?
Answer: The monitor is compact and lightweight, making it especially suitable for gimbal operators and shooters who need a low-weight, portable on-camera monitor. The supplied tilt arm and multiple mounting threads also help position the monitor securely while maintaining a low profile.
