This Hollyland kit consists of one Mars M1 Enhanced and one Mars 4K unit. Together, they provide combined wireless transmission and monitoring capabilities suited for on-set monitoring and video transmission workflows.
The Mars M1 Enhanced combines a transmitter, a receiver, and a monitor in a single device. Use it as a compact, flexible monitoring solution on camera rigs, gimbals, or as a portable field monitor. Because it integrates all three roles, you can switch between transmitter and receiver modes directly from its settings interface.
You can connect a single Mars M1 Enhanced transmitter with up to two receivers or with up to four mobile device apps. This flexibility allows multiple team members to monitor the feed simultaneously.
The Mars M1 Enhanced is designed to work with the Mars Pro series and Mars 4K video transmission systems, which reduces the need for multiple separate devices and makes on-set setup more efficient.
Note: When the wireless mode is disabled, the Mars M1 Enhanced operates solely as a monitor. Disabling wireless functionality reduces power consumption.
Compatible with:
The Mars 4K is built for high-resolution transmission needs. Use it when you require 4K UHD video transmission, flexible connectivity, and options to power the unit in multiple ways on set or in studio situations.
4K UHD Video Transmission: The Mars 4K supports 4K UHD video transmission at 30fps. It also supports FHD and HD formats at frame rates of 24p, 30p, and 60p.
150m LOS Range and 0.06s Ultra-low Latency: The Mars 4K achieves a line-of-sight range of 150m and an ultra-low latency of 0.06s. Its upgraded dual-core codec chip is capable of a 12 Mbps data transfer rate. The 150m LOS figure is based on interference-free laboratory measurements.
HDMI & SDI Dual Interfaces: The unit supports both HDMI and SDI input and output. SDI provides expanded frame rate flexibility for broadcast and production standards and ensures compatibility through production and postproduction workflows.
Flexible Monitoring Options: The transmitter is compatible with up to two receivers or up to four mobile devices with the app installed. This allows multiple on-site personnel—such as director, producer, lighting, and audio staff—to monitor the shoot simultaneously.
Operational Efficient Design Form Factor: The Mars 4K features materials with superior corrosion and wear resistance for durability. It includes disassembly-free, bullet-styled antennas that optimize operational setup and allow fast configurations.
Smart Channel Scan and Selection: Built-in channel assignment and smart scan functionality help determine which channels are occupied and select stable ones automatically at startup.
Color LCD with an Exclusive Rocker-Style Button: The color LCD and gamepad-styled rocker button provide a user-friendly UI for quick configuration and status checks.
Multiple Power Supply Options: The Mars 4K supports DC power from 6V to 16V, NP-F batteries, and USB Type-C chargers to suit different power setups on location.
