The Hollyland Pyro H is a wireless HDMI video transmission system designed to add 4K30 video to your production workflow. It ships as a transmitter and receiver set and includes five antennas, a USB-A to USB-C adapter, and an adjustable shoe adapter mount. The system supports UVC plug-and-play for streaming and offers flexible power options including DC, L-series batteries, and USB-C.
The Pyro H transmits uncompressed 4K30 video from the transmitter to the receiver over Wi‑Fi 4 (802.11n) using 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Use the HDMI loop output on the transmitter to monitor locally while the receiver displays the remote feed. Thanks to UVC support, you can also plug a unit into a computer and use the wireless feed directly for streaming or conferencing without extra drivers.
Choose broadcast mode when multiple monitors are required on set: one transmitter can connect to up to four receivers in this mode, with a line-of-sight range up to 650'. For longer-range single-link scenarios, disable broadcast mode to reach up to 1300' line-of-sight while supporting up to two receivers and two mobile devices.
The Pyro H offers two operating modes so you can prioritize image quality or latency. In HD mode the system can reach a bitrate up to 12 Mb/s for better image detail. For scenarios that demand responsiveness, Smooth mode reduces latency. The system delivers latency as low as 60 ms and transmits uncompressed wireless video for professional applications like broadcast and filmmaking.
Start the system and the built-in smart channel scan will automatically select a clear frequency. The receiver’s bright LCD provides real-time feedback so you can verify frequency status and maintain a stable link. Preset grouping and pairing simplify repeated setups by eliminating the need to manually pair units each time.
Each Pyro H unit accepts multiple power sources: a barrel DC input, optional L-series (NP-F) batteries via an accessory plate, or USB-C power (5–12V). The USB-C option is particularly convenient when using stabilizers or gimbals because it can avoid larger NP-F batteries and reduce overall weight. For mounting, each unit includes a 1/4"-20 female thread and ships with an adjustable shoe adapter mount for camera or rig attachment.
The Pyro H handles a range of HDMI video formats up to UHD 4K at 30/25/24 fps and multiple 1080p, 1080i, and 720p frame rates. Embedded audio travels over HDMI. A mobile app is available for Android and iOS for additional control and monitoring.
