Expand your Solidcom intercom setup with the Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro Hub Base. The Hub adds wired headset support, A/B grouping, an emergency Announce function, and USB Audio Class (UAC) connectivity so you can join cloud meetings on platforms like Zoom and Skype. It also lets you cascade additional Hubs to grow your system when you need more intercom connections on set or at an event.
The Solidcom C1 Pro system can operate up to 8 headsets without a Hub. However, when you add the C1 Pro Hub Base you can connect one wired headset to the Hub while simultaneously using up to eight remote headsets (headsets sold separately). You can further expand capacity by cascading additional Hub units as necessary.
The complete C1 Pro system transmits in the 1.9 GHz spectrum and uses DECT 6.0 technology. This combination provides a secure and reliable link for on-site communications. In line-of-sight conditions the system supports a range of up to 1100'. The product materials also reference a 1000' two-way operating range as a listed capability in the feature summary.
The Hub supports multiple power sources to suit field and fixed installations. You can power it using NP-F batteries, V-mount batteries, G-mount batteries, or a DC power adapter. This flexibility helps you adapt to different workflow needs on shoots, concerts, and live events.
The C1 Pro is backward compatible with the Solidcom C1 system. The Hub can interconnect different systems on site and offers 2- and 4-wire audio input/output interfaces for integration with other equipment. Additionally, up to three Hub-based systems can be cascaded via an IP network, enabling more complex or larger communication topologies by daisy-chaining systems as required.

Question: Can I use the Hub without purchasing headsets?
Answer: Yes. The Hub Base is sold without headsets. It supports one wired headset attached to the Hub and up to eight remote headsets, which are available separately.
Question: How do I connect the Hub to a Zoom or Skype meeting?
Answer: Use the Hub’s USB Audio Class (UAC) function. Connect a computer to the Hub via the provided USB-C to USB-A cable and the Hub will appear as an audio device for cloud meeting apps like Zoom and Skype.
Question: What happens when I press the ANNOUNCE button?
Answer: The ANNOUNCE function mutes all remote headsets so only the user wearing the wired Hub headset can transmit urgent instructions to the whole team, which is useful in emergencies.
Question: Can I integrate this Hub with an existing Solidcom C1 system?
Answer: Yes. The C1 Pro Hub is backward compatible with the Solidcom C1 system and supports interconnection through its audio I/O interfaces. You can also cascade up to three Hub-based systems via an IP network for larger deployments.
Question: What power options are available for field use?
Answer: The Hub accepts NP-F batteries, V-mount batteries, G-mount batteries, or DC power, allowing you to choose the power source that fits your workflow on location.
