The Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro Roaming Hub 20S is a full-duplex wireless DECT intercom system designed for mobile production teams. It ships with 20 single-ear headsets and a complete set of batteries, chargers, antennas, and accessories to support multi-group, on-site communications in demanding environments.
The system uses DECT 6.0 technology and transmits in the 1.9 GHz spectrum to ensure secure and reliable wireless audio. It provides a line-of-sight range of up to approximately 480 meters, making it suitable for film and TV production, concerts, and live events where team members move across a site.
Headsets feature dual-microphone Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to improve intelligibility in noisy conditions. The ENC algorithm combines a directional microphone at the speaker’s mouth with a secondary omnidirectional environmental microphone on the earcup to reduce background noise and emphasize voice. The microphone frequency response covers 150 Hz to 7 kHz to capture detailed speech.
This Roaming Hub includes a V-mount for connection to compatible external batteries so you can power the hub on location without a permanent AC source. It also has industry-standard 5/8” and 3/8” mounting holes for direct attachment to tripods, light stands, and other accessories. You can run up to six separate groups, which helps coordinate multiple function teams such as production, camera, and lighting. Roles are assignable and you can customize the number of users per role to match your workflow.
The system includes 20 true-wireless single-ear headsets. The headsets are dust- and water-resistant and designed for comfortable all-day wear. Because the Roaming Hub handles system coordination, you do not need a designated master headset on site.
Each headset uses a single rechargeable battery. With ENC engaged, each remote headset will run for up to 10 hours on a single charge. Batteries fully recharge in approximately 2.5 hours. The package includes three 8-bay charging stations and three AC adapters so you can recharge battery sets in rotation.
The Roaming Hub supports USB Audio Class (UAC), allowing a laptop or computer to connect directly by USB for cloud meetings. This lets on-site teams join Zoom, Skype, or other meeting platforms without the need for external sound capture cards. You can combine on-site and remote participants quickly and reliably.
A built-in Bluetooth module reports headset battery life to the hub and enables remote control through a dedicated mobile app. Use the app to check remaining battery life and modify system settings from your mobile device, reducing the need to walk to the hub for adjustments.
The complete 20-headset configuration ships with these accessories and spare parts to keep your system operational on site:
The C1 Pro Roaming Hub is backward-compatible with the original Solidcom C1 system. You can daisy-chain different C1 systems on site to expand coverage or increase the number of users to meet larger or more complex operational requirements.

Question: Can the Roaming Hub join cloud meetings and include remote participants?
Answer: Yes. The Roaming Hub supports USB Audio Class (UAC), so you can connect a computer via USB and use Zoom, Skype, or other meeting software to include remote participants without separate sound capture cards.
Question: How long do the headsets run and how quickly do batteries recharge?
Answer: Each headset runs up to 10 hours on a single battery with ENC engaged. Batteries fully recharge in about 2.5 hours. The system ships with three 8-bay charging stations and three AC adapters to keep batteries cycled and ready.
Question: What options help the system handle loud or outdoor environments?
Answer: The headsets use dual-mic Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC), combining a mouth-directional mic and an earcup environmental mic to reduce background noise. Headsets are also dust- and water-resistant. For mobile power, the Roaming Hub includes a V-mount and can be mounted using 5/8” and 3/8” holes for flexible positioning on tripods or stands.
