The Hollyland Syscom 421S is a multi-cam wireless video and audio transmission system that links up to four cameras to a single receiver. It supports up to 1080p60 signals over SDI and HDMI and provides a long line-of-sight range. In addition, the system forwards control signals and tally information, enabling PTZ control and on-air indication from a central control panel.
The receiver offers four separate SDI/HDMI outputs — one output per transmitter — so you can connect each camera feed to a monitor or a switcher directly. Also, you can attach the receiver to a LAN to pass control signals from a control panel to the transmitters. This setup allows you to control PTZ cameras and send tally information back to the camera units. Each transmitter also includes a dedicated tally output port to interface with tally hardware.
Both transmitter and receiver include an OLED display that shows resolution, transmission channel, signal strength, and battery power. The transmitters have built-in L-series battery plates. The receiver features a V-mount battery plate. For extended run times, both units also offer a 2-pin power input.

Question: How many cameras can the Syscom 421S support at once?
Answer: The system communicates with up to four transmitters simultaneously, with the receiver providing one SDI/HDMI output per transmitter so you can monitor or route each camera feed independently.
Question: Can I control PTZ cameras and send tally signals through the system?
Answer: Yes. By connecting the receiver to a LAN, you can pass control signals from a control panel to the transmitters to manage PTZ functions. The system also passes tally information, and each transmitter includes a dedicated tally output port for on-camera tally integration.
Question: What power and battery options are available for longer shoots?
Answer: The transmitters include built-in L-series battery plates, while the receiver includes a V-mount battery plate. Additionally, both units provide a 2-pin power input for external power sources to extend run times during extended shoots or events.
Question: What information is visible on the unit displays?
Answer: Both transmitter and receiver feature OLED displays that confirm resolution, transmission channel, signal strength, and battery power. This helps you verify setup and signal status quickly on set.
