The Kupo CS-20M Master 20" C-Stand features a sliding leg that lets you level the stand on inclines and uneven ground. As a result, you can position lights, reflectors and gobos with greater stability and control.
The stand uses two spring-loaded legs that open in fixed positions. Meanwhile, the third leg adjusts in height by loosening a locking knob and sliding it along the main riser section. This combination gives you secure support while allowing one leg to be raised higher than the others when needed.
Use the locking knob to raise or lower the sliding leg until the stand sits level on uneven surfaces. Then tighten the knob to secure the leg in place.
Because two legs are spring loaded to open in fixed positions, setup is fast and consistent. Consequently, you can focus on positioning lights and modifiers quickly on set.

Question: How does the sliding leg help on uneven ground?
Answer: The sliding leg allows you to raise one leg higher than the others by loosening a locking knob and moving the leg along the main riser. This lets you level the stand on inclines or irregular surfaces so that your light heads, reflectors and gobos remain stable.
Question: What is the purpose of the two spring-loaded legs?
Answer: The two spring-loaded legs open in fixed positions to provide quick, consistent deployment. In combination with the adjustable third leg, they give a stable base while reducing setup time on location.
Question: Which finishes are available and what materials are used?
Answer: The stand is available in a chrome plated steel finish for the silver version and a powder coated steel finish for the black version. These finishes correspond to the materials specified for each color option.
Question: What are the riser and section details I should know about?
Answer: The CS-20M features two risers and three sections, with tube diameters of 35mm, 30mm and 25mm. These details define the build and how the stand telescopes for height adjustment.
