The Kupo Master C Stand with Turtle Base brings a unique innovation to C Stands: a patented spring ring locking system that removes tension from the legs so gravity does the work. This design lets you open or collapse the base in under two seconds, making setup and breakdown faster on busy sets.
This Master C Stand is a 50cm double riser configuration with two telescoping risers and one main section, giving a total riser length of 1.73m. The stand uses a turtle base design, which allows the riser section to be quickly removed from the base for easier transportation. You add the height of the base to the riser total to reach the stand’s maximum height.
The stand base uses a zinc alloy casting that is five times stronger than aluminum to handle heavy sandbags and demanding on-set use. The stand’s locking collars are aluminum castings fitted with a stainless steel heli-coil. The heli-coil protects the aluminum from damage by the knob’s stainless steel stift, enhancing strength and durability. The stand is finished with chrome plating.
Choose the Kupo CT-20M Master C-Stand when you need quick setup and teardown, durable construction for heavy on-set use, and flexible mounting options. The turtle base and removable column simplify transport and allow low mounting or conversion to a rolling stand with the Kupo Runway Base.

Question: How fast can I open or collapse the legs?
Answer: The patented spring ring locking system removes tension from the legs so gravity can do the work, allowing you to open or collapse the base in under two seconds.
Question: What does “turtle base” mean for this stand?
Answer: The turtle base design means the riser section can be quickly removed from the base for easier transport, and the base can accept a stand adapter for low mounting positions.
Question: Can I use this stand with wheels?
Answer: Yes. You can remove the column and attach it to the Kupo Runway Base to create a strong, sturdy, and safe rolling stand.
Question: How does the stand handle heavy loads and repeated use?
Answer: The base uses a zinc alloy casting that is five times stronger than aluminum, and the aluminum casted locking collars include a stainless steel heli-coil that protects against knob wear, all contributing to long-term strength and durability.
