The Kupo DF-500 Digi Fan is a versatile wind machine built for studios, theatres, theme parks, touring and photographic use. It delivers a focused airflow and adapts to a wide range of applications, such as blowing haze, smoke, bubbles, confetti or snow. In addition, you can use it for cooling performers, dimmer racks or amplifiers and for drying paint in the studio.
The DF-500 supports standard DMX on-off and volume control for integration into lighting and effects systems. Alternatively, you can operate multiple units in master/slave mode through the built-in data link. A supplied remote controller with a 3M cable provides direct local control when needed.
For placement, the fan includes a versatile yoke that lets you rig it overhead, set it on the floor or mount it on a stand. The housing combines a molded lightweight plastic venting device with a rugged tubular steel surround for transport and protection.
This model uses an 11” one-piece blade together with a spiral front grill to create a narrow, focused wind stream. The fan is compact and lightweight while delivering a strong airflow suitable for effects and practical studio tasks.
