The Kupo KCP-415 off-set mounting plate lets you attach Kino Flo 2' and 4' fixtures to any industrial-standard 16 mm spigot. It uses an offset adapter with a welded steel ball head to deliver strength and a balanced load on the center of the stand. This unit is built for secure mounting and straightforward handling on set.
Use the KCP-415 to convert Kino Flo fixtures for use on standard 16 mm stands quickly and reliably. The welded steel ball head and offset adapter give a secure connection that keeps the fixture balanced. In addition, the removable twist-on plate and lasering marks speed up rigging and changes during a shoot.
First, align the located pin and lasering marking on the mounting plate with the fixture. Then twist the removable center plate onto the fixture until it seats. Finally, use the ratcheting handle to lock all axes in place with one motion. To remove the fixture, release the ratchet and twist off the center plate following the lasering guide.
