The Kupo KCP-611 Foamcore Clamp secures 1” (2.54 cm) foamcore panels with a robust U-shaped steel holder. It features a protective black powder coating and ships with the necessary hardware to mount the clamp to standard grip equipment.
The clamp uses U-shaped steel for strength and stability. In addition, the black powder coating provides a protective surface that resists wear during on-set use. Consequently, you get a durable holder designed for repeated mounting and removal of foamcore panels.
The clamp comes with a 10 mm diameter chrome plated steel stud. This stud attaches directly to a grip head, so you can mount the foamcore clamp on standard grip stands and rigs. Also included are two spike pins, each attached with a string. Use these pins to secure the foamcore through holes drilled on both sides and the bottom of the panel.
First, mount the chrome plated 10 mm stud into your grip head. Then insert the foamcore panel into the U-shaped holder. Finally, push the two spike pins through holes you have drilled in the foamcore on both sides and at the bottom, and secure them using the attached strings. This method keeps the panel held firmly for flagging, diffusion, or bounce tasks on set.

Question: What foamcore thickness does the KCP-611 accept?
Answer: It is designed specifically for foamcore with 1” (2.54 cm) thickness.
Question: How do I mount the clamp to my stand or rig?
Answer: The clamp includes a 10 mm diameter chrome plated steel stud that connects to a standard grip head, allowing easy mounting to grip stands and similar support systems.
Question: How does the clamp secure the foamcore panel?
Answer: You secure the panel by inserting two spike pins—each attached with a string—through holes drilled in the foamcore on both sides and at the bottom, which holds the panel firmly in the U-shaped holder.
Question: Is the clamp finished to resist wear on set?
Answer: Yes. The clamp has a black powder coating that protects the steel surface and helps it withstand regular use on set.
