The Kupo KS-768 Steadicam Bumper Pad provides a padded contact point for camera carts. It combines a steel backing plate and foam wrapped in Condura fabric to give steadicam operators a surface to rest and support the sled. The design allows the operator to set a comfortable height while maintaining stable support for the sled during use.
Use the KS-768 on a camera cart to create a cushioned support point for steadicam operations. The welded plate and hex pin make the bumper pad ready to mate with the KCP-700 Super convi clamp, so you can position the pad where you need it. Consequently, the operator can adjust the height for comfort while the pad supports the sled during filming.
The welded backing plate includes a hex pin specifically made to work with the KCP-700 Super convi clamp. Therefore, install the bumper pad by attaching the plate to that clamp, and then set the pad to the desired height for steadicam support.
