The Kupo KS-CB04 Car Window Pod is a clamp designed for photographing and videography from an automobile. It mounts directly to the window glass and gives a stable platform for a ball-head or camera bracket. The clamp uses a screw-down knob to fasten to the glass and incorporates protection where the clamp contacts the window.
The clamp fastens by turning the screw-down knob until the clamp grips the window glass. To prevent damage, the flats that contact the glass and the screw-down disk are lined with rubberized cork. This adds a protective buffer while the clamp holds steady during shooting from an automobile.
The unit comes with a 3/8”-16 stud that accommodates standard ball-heads and camera brackets. The stud has a large screwdriver slot so you can tighten it securely using a screwdriver. Two screw sets are supplied to help lock the clamp and the attached head or bracket in place for stable operation.
