Laowa collaborated with Nitze to produce a dedicated lens support designed specifically for the Laowa Periprobe. This support mounts to standard 15mm Lightweight Support (LWS) rod systems and provides important stability for the Periprobe during shoots.
This support bracket fits the unique structure of the Laowa 24mm Periprobe. It integrates with standard 15mm LWS rod setups, so you can add it to many professional rig configurations. Please note that this support is not compatible with the original Laowa 24mm Probe lens.
The bracket offers precise alignment and a quick-adjust mechanism to help position the Periprobe accurately. Because it supports the lens along the rods, it helps reduce stress on the camera mount and keeps the lens stable when you work at challenging angles.
In addition, the support uses durable metal construction and provides quick and secure mounting. These features make it simple to attach and adjust on set, whether you are working in a studio or on location.
Use this support when you need steadier operation with the Laowa Periprobe during demanding cinematography setups. It suits dynamic and creative shooting environments where the lens position may put extra strain on the camera mount. Since it integrates with common 15mm LWS rigs, you can use it across a range of professional workflows.
