The NANLITE Forza 300 II Daylight LED spot light builds on the output and compact form of the Forza 300/300B family while adding targeted refinements. It preserves a compact footprint and improves efficiency, control and compatibility for filmmakers, production teams and portrait photographers.
The Forza 300 II uses advanced W(RG)/WW(RG) color mixing and introduces G/M ±80 tunability in Daylight/Bi-color spotlights. This lets you shift green or magenta to blend with ambient light or match other fixtures. You can fine-tune white-light skewing toward magenta for optimized skin tones, or toward green to recreate cinematic film tones. In short, G/M tunability expands your options for true-to-life color reproduction and stylized moods.
This generation retains the Forza DNA—consistent quality across the range—while adding a glass-covered light source to protect the LEDs from external intrusion. Engineers improved power consumption and light efficiency to provide brighter output and longer battery run times compared with prior models.
NANLITE redesigned the control unit with the power adapter integrated inside, which reduces the overall size of the Forza 300 II/300B II by 37%. V-mount battery plates sit on both sides of the control unit for compatibility with batteries in different sizes. The yoke uses a one-sided, stepless locking mechanism for smooth, secure tilt adjustments, and the curved yokes increase the tilting range when modifiers or accessories are attached.
The control unit integrates a quick-release device on the back and the package includes a quick release clamp to improve adaptability and sturdiness on light stands and trusses. Standard cables include longer head connection cables (3 m) and an AC connection cable (6 m). Optional longer head cables of 7.5 m and 12 m are available for high rigging. The included carrying protection features improved cushioning and reinforced outer sewing for greater durability on location.
You can control the Forza 300 II through a clear, intuitive onboard interface. The fixture includes both 2.4G and Bluetooth dual wireless modules to work with NANLINK for studio setups, live streaming and small-to-medium production teams. For precise group control on larger shoots, the unit supports wired DMX/RDM connections. The USB port supplies power (5V/0.5A) to a wireless DMX receiver if needed.
Beyond AC power, the Forza 300 II/300B II supports multiple battery power options. Units allow AC/DC hot swapping without shutting off. They also support single battery operation and hot switching when the intensity is below 45%, enabling quick battery swaps during takes when power is limited.
The Forza II series features an adjustable cooling system with four operation modes: SMART, FULL SPEED, LOW SPEED and OFF. In SMART mode, noise drops to 23 dBA. Noise management has also improved in FULL SPEED mode, making the fixtures significantly quieter for interviews, music videos and TV commercials.
All fixtures use a standard Bowens mount and include an extra umbrella mount. NANLITE and third-party modifiers can attach directly, giving you a wide range of light shaping options. The light ships with a quick release clamp as standard to ease rigging. The Forza 300 II includes 11 built-in effects, while the Forza 300B II includes 12 built-in effects. Each effect’s parameters are adjustable on-board and offer further customization through the NANLINK app.
The Forza 300 II supports firmware upgrades via a USB flash drive, allowing for future feature updates. Built-in wireless modules and wired DMX/RDM support provide flexible integration into existing production workflows.

Question: How can I match the Forza 300 II to existing lights on set?
Answer: Use the W(RG)/WW(RG) color mixing and the G/M ±80 tunability to shift green or magenta and blend the Forza 300 II with ambient light or other fixtures. Adjustments are available both on the unit and through the NANLINK app for fine control.
Question: What power options are available for remote or location shoots?
Answer: The Forza 300 II supports AC power, AC/DC hot swapping and battery operation. With one 14.8V 12A battery you can reach up to 45% output; two such batteries give up to 100% output. You can hot-switch batteries at intensities under 45% to maintain continuous filming.
Question: Can I control the light remotely and in multi-light setups?
Answer: Yes. The fixture includes built-in 2.4G and Bluetooth modules for NANLINK wireless control and also supports wired DMX/RDM for precise group control. The USB port can power a wireless DMX receiver (5V/0.5A) if required.
Question: Is the Forza 300 II suitable for interviews and quiet sets?
Answer: Yes. The unit offers four cooling modes including SMART, which lowers fan noise to 23 dBA. Noise management is improved across modes, including FULL SPEED, making the fixture suitable for interviews and broadcast work.
Question: What mounting and modifier options does it support?
Answer: The Forza 300 II uses a standard Bowens mount and includes an umbrella mount, so both NANLITE and third-party modifiers can be attached. The yoke design and quick-release clamp simplify rigging and adjustment when modifiers are fitted.
Question: Can the Forza 300 II be updated with new features later?
Answer: Yes. The fixture supports firmware upgrades via USB flash drive, allowing you to apply firmware updates and future enhancements as they become available.
