This generation retains the Forza DNA—consistent quality across the range—while adding a glass-covered light source to protect the LEDs from external intrusion. Engineers improved power consumption and light efficiency to provide brighter output and longer battery run times compared with prior models.

Reimagined control unit and mounting

NANLITE redesigned the control unit with the power adapter integrated inside, which reduces the overall size of the Forza 300 II/300B II by 37%. V-mount battery plates sit on both sides of the control unit for compatibility with batteries in different sizes. The yoke uses a one-sided, stepless locking mechanism for smooth, secure tilt adjustments, and the curved yokes increase the tilting range when modifiers or accessories are attached.

The control unit integrates a quick-release device on the back and the package includes a quick release clamp to improve adaptability and sturdiness on light stands and trusses.
