The Nanlite Forza 720B delivers high output from a compact, bicolor LED spotlight. It combines an 800-watt rated performance profile with a lightweight head and a separate control unit. The fixture is built to reproduce accurate colors, offer precise dimming, and support a wide range of mounting and control options. A trolley case and useful accessories are included for transport and on-set convenience.
The Forza 720B is a bicolor LED spotlight with a rated power of 800 watts. It fills production roles often handled by powerful HMI fixtures, while remaining more compact and heat-efficient. The bicolor LEDs cover a correlated color temperature (CCT) range of 2700–6500K. This range lets you mimic warm indoor lamp tones as well as cool daylight to match windows or other sources.
Color fidelity is strong: the unit is rated with a CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 97. These values indicate the light reproduces skin tones and color-critical subjects with high accuracy, which is important for both photography and cinematography workflows.
Forza 720B supports smooth dimming from 0% to 100% with very fine 0.1% increments. This precision allows you to dial in subtle exposures, create realistic sunlight effects, or craft dramatic, low-light moods without stepping. The fixture also includes 12 built-in practical effects—such as Storm, CCT Loop, and TV—that you can use immediately on set. All effects are customizable and can be saved as presets via the NANLINK mobile app for quick recall during production.
The light runs from a standard AC outlet or can be used untethered with battery power. It accepts two V-Mount batteries, either 14.8V or 26V types (batteries sold separately). The V-Mount batteries attach to the sides of the Control Unit for easy access. The Control Unit is also fitted with multiple loops to attach safety wires when the fixture is mounted in elevated positions.
For wireless control, you can use the NANLINK mobile app via the built-in Bluetooth connection. The unit also offers built-in 2.4G wireless control for use with remotes, or with the WS-TB-1 Transmitter Box (sold separately) for more elaborate setups. For professional stage and studio integration, Forza 720B supports DMX and RDM through XLR input and output. A USB-A port is provided on the Control Unit for future firmware updates.
The included yoke is designed for quick and secure positioning. It is compatible with both 5/8'' baby pins and 1 1/8'' junior pins, and features an umbrella holder plus a durable, single-sided lock for rapid adjustments. A sturdy quick-release clamp is included so you can mount the Control Unit to standard light stands, larger-diameter poles, or other structures.
For modifier compatibility, the Forza 720B uses a Bowens mount. This offers broad support for light-shaping tools such as softboxes, projector attachments, fresnels, and barndoors (all sold separately). Nanlite’s own Easy-Up softboxes, Bowens Mount Projector, FL-20G fresnel, and barndoors are examples of compatible accessories.
The package includes a trolley case for transport and storage, plus a protective COB cap and reflector. You can rig and position the Forza 720B with over 9.5 m of included cabling (noted elsewhere as over 30 feet of cable), providing flexibility on larger sets and easier distance between the head and the Control Unit.
