The Nanlite PavoTube II 30XR is an RGBWW LED pixel tube that combines full-spectrum color control with built-in CRMX LumenRadio wireless DMX. It shares the same design and physical attributes as the PavoTube II 30X while adding CRMX wireless DMX on the XR model.

Key features and control options

The PavoTube II 30XR offers precise color control and multiple wireless control methods. Specifically, it provides an expanded color temperature range from 2700K to 12000K with green-to-magenta adjustment, full RGB hue and saturation control, and high color accuracy with an average CRI of 97 and an average TLCI of 98.

For control and connectivity, the tube supports DMX compatibility, 2.4G wireless control, Bluetooth control via the free NANLINK mobile app (iOS and Android), and CRMX LumenRadio wireless DMX built into the XR model.

Performance and power

The tube includes an internal 4400mAh Li-ion battery. At full brightness, it runs untethered for 1 hour and 36 minutes. You can fully recharge the battery in 3 hours and 30 minutes using the included AC adapter. Additionally, the AC adapter can power the PavoTube II 30XR during extended shoots when continuous operation is required.

Pixel effects, practical effects, and animation

The X-Series adds pixel-based special effects and a higher pixel density to expand creative possibilities. The PavoTube II 30XR has a pixel density of 16 and provides a total of 10 pixel-based effects plus 15 adjustable practical effects. These effects let you create animated, multi-color, and practical lighting looks directly from the tube.
