The Nanlux DYNO 650C is a powerful and soft LED softlight designed for movie, TV, broadcast and media applications. It combines high output with precise colour control and a very wide beam angle to deliver consistent, quality light for professional productions.
The DYNO 650C delivers an exceptionally high output for a compact soft panel. With an ultra-wide beam angle, it ranks among the brightest LED softlights in its class. Specifically, the DYNO 650C produces 2649 lux at 3 meters with the standard diffuser at 5600K.
Furthermore, the series is fully tuneable across an extended correlated colour temperature (CCT) range from 2700K to 20000K, offering one of the widest CCT ranges available for comparable LED softlights.
The DYNO series uses advanced software and hardware to provide precise colour output and flicker-free stability. You can adjust the green/magenta balance to achieve accurate Duv and match practical or other light sources precisely.
Multiple colour modes increase flexibility: HSI, RGBW, Gel and XY. These modes enable precise mixing of hue, saturation and intensity, plus individual control over red, green, blue and white channels. The built-in LED screen assists with selection and reference.
The unit includes 15 onboard, pre-programmed practical effects. Each effect is fully customisable and the fixture features a convenient save-and-playback function for quick recall on set.
Dimming is ultra-precise and stepless from 0–100%. Between 1% and 100% the unit offers increments as small as 0.1%, allowing for very fine adjustments to intensity.
To speed setups, you can save and recall custom presets from the fixture’s internal library. Additionally, the onboard USB port allows import and export of presets via a USB flash drive (thumb drive sold separately), which simplifies setting up multiple panels with identical settings.
The DYNO series introduces a new, user-friendly menu system. It features a large 4.3 inch LCD display, eight shortcut keys and three control knobs, reducing the number of pages and clicks needed to access settings.
For remote operation and linked installations, the DYNO 650C supports multiple control methods. You can control it on-board, via 5-pin DMX (with RDM support), or through optional wired NANLINK. Wireless options include built-in Bluetooth, 2.4GHz WiFi and LumenRadio TimoTwo.
Nanlux engineered the DYNO series with a low profile, robust metal housing and reinforced edges. The fixtures underwent extensive real-world testing and evaluation to confirm their ability to withstand demanding use on productions.
The system also supports a selection of bespoke light-shaping accessories to extend creative options. Available accessories include octagonal and rectangular softboxes, eggcrate and barndoors.
