The NANLUX Evoke 900C is a compact, high-output LED fixture designed for filmmakers and lighting professionals. It pairs a powerful light source with a wide color spectrum thanks to NANLUX’s RGBLAC six-color mixing system, and it ships with an FL-35YK spot lens and a dedicated flight case for transport and protection.

High output and broad color range

The Evoke 900C delivers a strong output while remaining relatively lightweight. The fixture alone weighs 7.7 kg and produces 12,940 lux at 3 meters when used with the RF-NLM-45 45° reflector at 5600K. Its RGBLAC six-color mixing system adds lime, amber and cyan to the primary RGB channels to improve color accuracy and broaden creative options.

Color temperature ranges from 1800K to 20,000K and the fixture offers G/M adjustment up to ±200. The Evoke 900C achieves excellent color rendering with average CRI/TLCI values of 96/96, a TM-30 Rg average of 94 and a TM-30 Rf average of 100.

Intuitive control and user interface

The Evoke 900C features a 3.5-inch full-color display, four buttons and three control knobs for clear, fast on-board operation. All key parameters and color shifts are visible on the display so you can tune the light quickly on set.

You can also control the unit remotely. Available control methods include on-board controls, a WS-RC-C2 Remote Controller, the Nanlink app, DMX/RDM, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net/sACN and wired control. These options give lighting technicians flexibility across studio, location and live applications.

Precise dimming and color modes

The dimmer supports very fine adjustments from 0–100% in 0.1% increments, producing smooth fades and eliminating sudden jumps in the critical 0–1% range. Via DMX you can choose from five dimming curves—linear, exponent, logarithm, S-curve and gamma 2.2—to match industry-standard control responses.

Beyond standard CCT control, the Evoke 900C includes advanced color modes: Advanced HSI, RGBW, XY and Gel mode. Gel mode contains 151 LEE gels for quick matching of traditional color filters. The fixture also offers 15 built-in effects to simulate common lighting situations.

Design, cooling and weather resistance

The Evoke 900C and its external power supply are both IP55 rated, which provides resistance to water and dust and supports use in demanding outdoor or wet-weather shooting scenarios. NANLUX designed the fixture and power unit for reliability and durability in professional environments.

The cooling system uses a new generation of adjustable fan control with four modes: Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed and Off. In 100% Smart mode the fixture operates quietly at 25 dBA, helping to keep location noise low while maintaining adequate cooling. The included yoke offers a 15° tilt adjustment to ease positioning, especially when modifiers are attached.
