NiSi Cine Filter Starter Kit 4x5,65" – 3 IRNDs, Pure Clear filter and Caddy Pouch included

This NiSi starter kit gives filmmakers a compact set of cinema-grade filters for exposure control, protection and consistent color. The kit contains three IRND filters, a Pure Clear protective filter and a dedicated caddy pouch. All facts below are taken from the original product details.

What's included

  • 1 x IRND 0.6
  • 1 x IRND 0.9
  • 1 x IRND 1.2
  • 1 x Pure Clear Filter
  • 1 x Caddy Pouch

Filter construction and thickness

All cinema filters in this kit are 4mm thick. This uniform thickness applies to the IRND filters and the Pure Clear filter and helps maintain consistent handling and stacking behavior when used with other filters.

NiSi IRND Filters — exposure control with neutral density

The NiSi IRND filters reduce exposure across the entire image. As a result, you can shoot with a wider aperture or a slower shutter speed than you would without an ND filter. Consequently, you gain control over depth of field and motion portrayal in your footage.

Moreover, these NiSi neutral density filters are designed to avoid affecting image coloration. They work well when paired with other filters. NiSi optimized the design for use with digital sensors and tuned the attenuation to be nearly flat across both visible and infrared light. In addition, each surface of these IRND filters receives one layer of NiSi Optical Nano Coating. This coating aims to provide high neutrality across visible and infrared spectrums, help eliminate color casts, and support cleaner, truer blacks when using the NiSi Nano IRND Filter.

NiSi Pure Clear Filter — protection with minimal impact

The Pure Clear filter uses high-quality glass to ensure that placing the filter in the lens path will not adversely affect your shots. It offers ultra low color shift and adds protective properties such as scratch resistance, waterproofing and oil resistance. Use it when you want front-element protection without changing the look of your image.

Nisi Caddy Filter Pouch — compact, shockproof and practical

The included caddy pouch features a shockproof design and a compact, lightweight build. It weighs only 290g and can hold up to seven cinema filters. The flip-top design keeps the pouch open while you work, so you can access filters quickly on set or in the field.
