NiSi Filter Circular Polarizer True Color Pro Nano 49mm – Provides true color without the warming cast

The NiSi True Color Pro Nano circular polarizer (49mm) cuts reflections from non-metal surfaces while maintaining true colors without the warming cast seen with many other CPLs. It combines multiple protective coatings and proprietary technologies to reduce glare, improve image clarity, and simplify cleaning.

How the filter works and what it does

The filter uses an exclusive polarizer coating film to remove reflections from non-metallic surfaces. As a result, colors remain true rather than shifting toward a warm cast that some polarizers introduce. Additionally, the polarizer reduces haze in landscape shots and eliminates unwanted glare, improving overall image definition.

Durability and practical protection

Both sides of the filter feature a waterproof barrier, which also adds scratch resistance and oil resistance. Consequently, dust, fingerprints, and water stains are easier to clean off the glass. The nano coating enhances scratch resistance and increases resistance to water and oil, so maintenance becomes quicker and more effective.

Precision processing and optical quality

NiSi processes each filter with precision control. Moreover, the use of double-sided parallelization technology results in ultra-high image definition. These manufacturing steps aim to keep optical performance consistent and reliable for demanding photography and filmmaking tasks.

Cine Sealed technology and frame design

NiSi True Color CPL utilises Cine Sealed technology, which blackens the edge of the CPL for added durability. This sealing reduces the influence of temperature fluctuations and helps keep out condensation. The filter also features an ultra slim, two-colored frame, designed to minimise vignetting on wide-angle lenses.

Available sizes

The True Color Pro Nano circular polarizer is available in sizes from 40,5 - 105mm filtertread, including the 49mm model shown here.

FAQ

Question: Will this polarizer change the overall color balance of my images?
Answer: No. The True Color Pro Nano is designed to provide true colors without the warming cast often seen with other CPLs, so it preserves natural color balance while cutting reflections.

Question: How easy is the filter to clean after exposure to dust, fingerprints or water?
Answer: The filter has a nano coating and a waterproof barrier on both sides, which increases resistance to oil and water and makes cleaning dust, fingerprints, and water stains straightforward and effective.

Question: Does the filter help in landscape photography?
Answer: Yes. The polarizer reduces haze in landscape shots and eliminates reflections from non-metallic surfaces, which can enhance clarity and contrast in skies, water, and foliage.

Question: How does Cine Sealed technology benefit me in the field?
Answer: Cine Sealed technology blackens the CPL edge for added durability, reduces the effect of temperature changes, and helps keep out condensation, which improves reliability in varied shooting conditions.
