This NiSi S6 adapter lets you mount the NiSi S6 150mm filter holder system on lenses with 105mm, 95mm or 82mm filter threads. It provides a secure, quick-to-install solution so you can use the S6 holder and circular S6 filters on lenses with those thread sizes.

Compatibility and intended use

The adapter enables the NiSi S6 150mm Filter Holder System to work with lenses that have 82mm, 95mm or 105mm filter threads. It is the adapter only and therefore requires a separate NiSi S6 Filter-Holder to use 150x150mm or 150x170mm rectangular filters.

Also, note that this adapter is compatible with the Circular S6 filters, but it is not compatible with the Circular filters designed for the S5 system.

Installation and operation

To install, slide the adapter ring over the integrated hood of your lens and tighten it in place. Then fit the NiSi S6 Filter Holder Frame over the adapter ring. After fitting, use the filter holder’s pull-and-release locking pin to secure the holder while still allowing smooth rotation.

When you attach a compatible circular polarizer together with the adapter ring, rotate the polarizer using the external dials. These dials permit independent rotation of the circular polarizer so you can adjust polarization without disturbing the rectangular filters in the holder.
