The NiSi Nano IR Neutral Density Filter ND32000 reduces the light reaching the camera by 15 stops. It lets you use very long shutter speeds or wider apertures in bright conditions while maintaining controlled exposure.
Use this dense ND filter to create long-exposure effects in landscape and travel photography. For example, it produces a dreamy look with moving clouds and a smooth water surface by allowing extended shutter times. Likewise, use it in bright sunlight when you need a large aperture for portraits while keeping the exposure balanced.
The filter is made of high quality optical glass from Japan. NiSi equips both sides with multi-layer anti-reflection coatings to provide maximum contrast and to help reduce glare and reflections. In addition, the special IR coating eliminates infrared light and helps ensure neutral color reproduction even at long shutter speeds.
A super hard Nano coating repels water and grease and makes the filter easy to clean. The filter ring is made of aluminum and has an ultra-thin profile of only 3.5 mm, which means you can use the filter on wide-angle lenses without causing vignetting.

Question: What does "15 stops" mean for this filter?
Answer: The filter reduces incoming light by 15 stops, allowing much longer shutter speeds or the use of larger apertures in bright conditions.
Question: Can I use this filter on wide-angle lenses without vignetting?
Answer: Yes. The aluminum filter ring is ultra thin at 3.5 mm, which allows use on wide-angle lenses without causing vignetting.
Question: Will the filter affect color reproduction during long exposures?
Answer: NiSi's IR coating eliminates infrared light and helps ensure neutral color reproduction even at long shutter speeds.
Question: How does the filter handle water, grease and dirt?
Answer: A super hard Nano coating repels water and grease and makes the filter easy to clean.
