The NiSi Nano IR Neutral Density Filter ND32000 reduces incoming light by 15 stops. This allows you to create very long exposures and control depth of field in bright conditions. The filter comes in a 82mm thread size and features optical glass and advanced coatings designed for reliable, neutral results.
Use this dense ND filter to produce long shutter speeds for landscape and travel photography. For example, you can capture moving clouds with a dreamy streak or render water surfaces smooth and silky. Likewise, you can keep a large aperture in bright sunlight when you need shallow depth of field for portraits, without overexposing the image.
The filter uses high quality optical glass sourced from Japan. In addition, multi-layer anti-reflection coatings on both sides improve contrast and reduce the risk of glare and reflections. NiSi’s special IR coating eliminates infrared light and helps maintain neutral color reproduction even at long shutter speeds.
A super hard Nano coating repels water, grease and dust, which helps keep the filter cleaner during shoots. Because of this coating the filter is easier to clean when needed, reducing time spent maintaining your gear in the field.
The filter ring is made of aluminum and measures only 3.5 mm in thickness. As a result, the ultra-thin, matte black frame helps prevent vignetting on wide-angle lenses and keeps the filter practical for wide focal lengths.

Question: What photographic situations benefit most from the NiSi ND32000?
Answer: Use it for long exposures in landscape and travel photography to create dreamy effects with moving clouds and smooth water. It also lets you use large apertures in bright sunlight for portrait work without overexposing.
Question: Will the filter cause color casts at long shutter speeds?
Answer: NiSi’s IR coating is designed to eliminate infrared light and reduce the risk of color casts, helping to ensure neutral color reproduction during long exposures.
Question: How easy is the filter to clean and maintain?
Answer: The super hard Nano coating repels water, grease and dust, which makes the filter easier to clean and helps keep it in working condition with less frequent maintenance.
Question: Can I use this filter on wide-angle lenses without vignetting?
Answer: Yes. The aluminum filter ring is only 3.5 mm thick and the matte black, ultra-thin frame reduces the risk of vignetting on wide-angle lenses, making it suitable for wide focal lengths.
