The NiSi Nano IR Neutral Density Filter ND8 is specially designed for landscape photographers and videographers. It reduces incoming light by 3 stops (ND0.9) while preserving scene detail. As a result, you can control exposure, create motion blur, or use wider apertures without altering image coloration.

Optical quality and coatings

The filter uses high-quality optical glass and a nano coating that helps retain image detail. In addition, the filter includes an IR protection coating that reduces infrared light passing through the lens to help restore natural color. The nano coating also makes the filter highly resistant to water and oil, which makes it extremely easy to clean and maintain.

Thin aluminium frame built to minimise vignetting

The frame is made of aluminium and measures only 3.5mm in thickness. Because the frame is ultra thin, the filter fits well on super wide-angle lenses and helps avoid vignetting. The frame also features a matt black superfine frosted finish and a top smooth surface for practical handling and reduced reflections.
