This NiSi NC UV filter fits broadcast lenses with a 127 mm thread and screws on securely to provide UV filtration and lens protection. It uses Ultra High definition optical glass and a special "U" type Nano coating that reduces reflections and increases transmittance. In addition, the filter has a hardened waterproof coating and an aluminium frame for durability.
The filter reduces unwanted UV light and helps preserve image clarity. At the same time, it serves as a general protective element that you can leave on the lens to prevent dust, moisture and scratches from reaching the lens glass. Therefore, you get both optical and physical protection in one accessory.
The filter fits the following Fujifilm broadcast and ENG lenses. Note that for some lenses the filter attaches to the lens hood:
The filter also fits a range of Canon broadcast lenses used in ENG and studio situations:

Question: Will this filter fit my Fujifilm or Canon broadcast lens?
Answer: If your lens is listed in the compatibility sections above and uses a 127 mm thread or a hood attachment as noted, the filter will fit. Check your lens model against the listed Fujifilm and Canon models to confirm.
Question: Can I leave the NiSi NC UV filter on my lens all the time?
Answer: Yes. The filter functions as both a UV filter and a protective filter. It helps prevent dust, moisture and scratches from reaching the lens element, so many users keep it mounted during transport and regular shooting.
Question: How does the Nano and waterproof coating help on set?
Answer: The "U" type Nano coating reduces reflections while the hardened waterproof coating resists moisture and makes the surface easier to clean. Together, they maintain high transmittance and reduce the need for frequent cleaning under typical shooting conditions.
