This NiSi Starter Kit+ is made specifically for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro with Hasselblad camera. The kit includes three ND/PL combination filters — ND4/PL, ND8/PL and ND16/PL — plus a dedicated Polarizer filter. Each filter is designed to fit the Mavic 2 Pro and to expand your creative options when filming or photographing from the drone.
Each NiSi filter for the Mavic 2 Pro uses a lightweight airframe constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum. As a result, each filter is remarkably light at approximately 1.5g, which helps preserve the drone’s balance and performance.
The filters use high definition optical glass that is free from color cast. This optical quality provides sharp results and keeps colors true to life. Additionally, NiSi applies its Nano coating to these filters. The Nano coating makes the filters easy to clean, causes water to bead up and fall straight off, and keeps reflections very low.
ND filters reduce the amount of light entering the camera, which lengthens the shutter speed. This produces a more natural sense of motion in video footage. The ND/PL combination adds polarizing control while maintaining ND functionality.
Importantly, the ND filters in this kit use NiSi’s IR technology (the same technology used in their square filters) to reduce color cast and support very true-to-life color reproduction. In short, these ND/PL filters let you control exposure and motion while keeping color accuracy.
The polarizer in this kit filters out light that has become polarized due to reflection from non-metallic surfaces. As a result, you get a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from surfaces like water and glass. In addition, the polarizer increases saturation in skies and foliage, helping landscapes and aerial scenes look more vivid and defined.
NiSi designed these filters to complement the style of the Mavic 2 Pro and to attach and remove easily from the camera. This makes switching filters quick during a shoot. Furthermore, all NiSi filters for the Mavic 2 Pro pass the startup calibration, ensuring compatibility and reliable operation when installed.

Question: Will these filters fit my DJI Mavic 2 Pro with Hasselblad camera?
Answer: Yes. The NiSi Starter Kit+ is designed specifically for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro with the Hasselblad camera to ensure proper fit and function.
Question: What does the ND/PL designation mean and when should I use it?
Answer: ND/PL combines a neutral density (ND) filter and a polarizer (PL). Use ND/PL filters to reduce light for longer shutter speeds while also controlling glare and reflections. They are useful when you want both exposure control and polarization in one filter.
Question: How does the Nano coating benefit me in the field?
Answer: NiSi’s Nano coating makes filters easier to clean, repels water so droplets bead and fall off, and reduces reflections. This helps maintain image clarity and reduces downtime when shooting in wet or dusty conditions.
Question: Do these filters affect color accuracy?
Answer: The filters use high definition optical glass free from color cast and include NiSi’s IR technology to reduce color cast. This combination aims to preserve true-to-life colors while providing ND and polarization benefits.
Question: Are these filters difficult to attach or remove during a shoot?
Answer: NiSi designed the filters to be easy to attach and remove from the Mavic 2 Pro camera, so you can change filters quickly as shooting conditions change.
Question: Do the filters require any calibration after installation?
Answer: All NiSi filters for Mavic 2 Pro pass the startup calibration, supporting reliable operation when installed on the drone.
