The NiSi Step-Up Adapterring Brass 62-72mm lets you mount filters or accessories that have a larger thread diameter than your lens filter thread. It adapts a smaller lens thread to a larger filter thread so you can use a wider range of filters and accessories without changing lenses.
Step-up rings let you fit a filter that has threads larger than your lens. You screw the adapter onto your lens filter thread first, then screw the larger filter or accessory onto the adapter. This keeps your lens and filter securely connected while adapting the thread size.
For example, if you have a 77mm lens thread and want to fit an 82mm filter, you would use the NISI STEP-UP ADAPTERRING TI 77-82MM. In general, the first number indicates your lens thread and the second number indicates the filter thread.

Question: What does 62-72mm mean?
Answer: The first number (62mm) is the thread size of your lens. The second number (72mm) is the thread size of the filter or accessory you want to mount. This adapter lets a 62mm lens accept 72mm filters.
Question: What material is the adapter made from?
Answer: The adapter is made of high quality Brass, which provides durable and reliable performance.
Question: Does the adapter reduce reflections inside the ring?
Answer: Yes. The inside of the adapter has an anti-reflective treatment to help reduce internal reflections.
Question: How do I attach a larger filter to my lens?
Answer: Screw the step-up adapter onto your lens filter thread first, then screw the larger filter or accessory onto the adapter. This creates a secure connection between lens and filter.
