The NiSi Switch Filter Holder 100mm accepts 100mm square filters with a thickness of 2mm. It lets you position two filters either as a single unit or rotate each slot independently, which helps you handle complex lighting and horizon alignment when using graduated neutral density filters.
This holder is designed to work with the 82mm main adapter supplied in NiSi kits that include the V6, V5 PRO, or V5 holders. If you already own a NiSi system with one of those holders, you can order the Switch as an additional filter holder and reuse the existing adapter.
The Switch can rotate a full 360 degrees. Moreover, it includes a locking screw so you can secure the holder in the exact position you choose. All slots turn easily and smoothly, allowing fast adjustment on location and precise alignment for each filter.
You can use the Switch with focal lengths down to 16mm on full frame cameras without vignetting. This makes it suitable for many landscape and architectural shooting situations where wide-angle coverage matters.

Question: Which filter size and thickness does the Switch accept?
Answer: It accepts 100mm square filters that are 2mm thick.
Question: Will the Switch work with my existing NiSi holder kit?
Answer: Yes. It works with the 82mm main adapter included in NiSi V6, V5 PRO, and V5 kits, so current users can add the Switch as an extra holder and reuse that adapter.
Question: Can I position two graduated ND filters at different angles?
Answer: Yes. The two slots can rotate together or independently, allowing you to angle each graduated ND precisely to match different horizons or light sources.
Question: Is the rotation secure for long exposures or consistent framing?
Answer: The Switch rotates smoothly and features a locking screw that secures the holder at the chosen angle for consistent positioning.
Question: Will this cause vignetting on wide-angle lenses?
Answer: The Switch can be used down to 16mm on full frame without vignetting, making it suitable for many wide-angle landscape and architecture applications.
