The NiSi Wizard W-82M lets you move your camera between horizontal and vertical orientations quickly and with reliable positioning. It offers three positive click positions and an Arca-Swiss compatible plate for easy connection to most tripod heads. The bracket also includes a 1/4" adjustable screw for secure camera attachment and rubber padding to protect your camera body.
You can rotate your camera up to 180 degrees within the bracket. The mechanism provides three distinct click points at 0°, 90° and 180°, so you get tactile feedback when the camera reaches a common shooting orientation. The long locking screw gives you good leverage and grip, which helps when you need to secure the camera quickly.
The W-82M is compatible with a wide variety of cameras, but note one important physical constraint: the outer diameter of your lens mount must be smaller than the inner diameter of the Wizard to fit correctly. Check the diameter of your lens mount against the bracket opening before purchase to ensure proper fit.

Question: Is the W-82M compatible with my camera model?
Answer: The W-82M is designed for Canon R-Series cameras. Other NiSi Wizard models suit different camera lines—see the model compatibility guide above to match your camera to the correct Wizard model.
Question: How does the bracket attach to my camera?
Answer: Mount your camera using the 1/4" adjustable screw on the plate. The plate also has rubber on top to protect the camera body where it contacts the bracket.
Question: Can I use this with my existing tripod head?
Answer: Yes. The plate is Arca Swiss standard and is compatible with most tripod heads that accept Arca-style plates. Confirm your tripod head accepts Arca plates before use.
Question: What do the click points mean in practical use?
Answer: The three click points at 0°, 90° and 180° give tactile stops for common shooting orientations. They help you quickly and consistently position the camera for landscape or portrait compositions.
Question: Are there any fit limitations I should know about?
Answer: Yes. Ensure the outer diameter of your lens mount is smaller than the inner diameter of the Wizard bracket. If the lens mount is larger, the camera will not fit properly in the bracket.
Question: How is this different from an L-bracket?
Answer: The NiSi Wizard is designed to allow faster and more flexible switching between horizontal and vertical orientations compared with traditional L-brackets, using a rotating mechanism with defined click points rather than a fixed L-shaped profile.
