We collaborated with Garrett King, known as Shortstache, to create a combined filter that pairs a Circular Polarizer with a Black Mist diffusion. This Shortstache Signature Edition merges two effects into one filter so you can keep a preferred look mounted and ready.

Signature look and practical use

The polarizer delivers a sharp, clean image by reducing reflections and enhancing contrast. At the same time, the 1/4 "Everyday" Black Mist provides a light diffusion that produces subtle highlight halation and a slight bloom, adding a hint of filmic character to your footage or photos.

Because these two effects are built into a single filter, you can use it as an everyday option and leave it on your lens for extended shoots. In practice, the filter suits both close-ups and wide landscapes and supports fast adjustments on set thanks to its magnetic mounting system.
