The PolarPro Helix UV Filter combines a protective UV filter with the Helix MagLock™ Filter System. The Armor UV Filter protects your lens while also reducing UV light down to 380nm. The Helix system removes the need to thread filters on and off, and it locks the filter securely in place once installed.
The Helix MagLock™ Filter System was developed to eliminate the hassle of threading filters on and off. It uses a magnetic + quarter-turn locking mechanism to create a completely secure connection. This design makes the filter lightning-fast to install and remove, while ensuring the filter stays locked during the most demanding shooting situations.
The connection remains secure until you intentionally remove the filter, so you can work confidently in active shooting environments.
The Armor UV Filter provides direct protection for your lens surface and reduces UV light transmission down to 380nm. This lets you use the filter both as a protective barrier and as a tool to control UV in your images, according to your shooting needs.
