The PolarPro Step-Up Ring 58mm-67mm lets you use larger-diameter filters on lenses with a smaller filter thread. It expands the compatibility range for your filters, so you can fit a 67mm filter onto a 58mm lens thread using this ring.

How the Step-Up Ring works

The ring threads onto your lens’ filter mount and provides a larger outer thread for your filter. In other words, it adapts a smaller lens thread to accept a larger filter thread. For example, a 67mm-77mm Step-Up Ring would allow a 77mm filter to fit a 67mm lens. Similarly, this 58mm-67mm ring enables 67mm filters to be used on 58mm lenses.
