The Saramonic K9 Digital Duo is a dual-channel digital UHF system built for professional film and video production. With 32-bit float recording, timecode sync and high dynamics, the K9 delivers stable, interference-resistant audio transmission and reliable sound quality in demanding environments.
The K9 uses digital UHF transmission for higher stability and better resistance to interference compared to standard 2.4 GHz systems. This makes it ideal for recording in high wireless traffic environments.
With 32-bit float recording directly in the transmitter and up to 256 GB of storage, audio is captured with a wide margin of safety. You can restore levels in post-processing without worrying about signal clipping at unexpected peaks.
The K9 supports timecode sync via the Saramonic System app (wireless) or via 3.5mm connection. This allows multiple devices to sync to the exact frame and reduces the need for manual sync in post.
With up to 130 dB input dynamics and 120 dB analog output, the system handles everything from whispers to loud noises while maintaining detail and clarity. The 20 Hz-20 kHz frequency range provides a natural and full sound.
The included 3mm miniature lavalier microphones are easy to hide and built to take a beating. IP67 rating provides protection against dust and water, and Kevlar-reinforced cable increases durability for everyday professional use.
The devices have hidden buttons to reduce the risk of accidental presses during recording. Battery life is up to 9 hours (TX) and 8 hours (RX), with flexible power options via USB-C and different battery types.

What is the advantage of digital UHF over 2.4 GHz?
Digital UHF generally provides more stable performance and better resistance to interference in environments where the 2.4 GHz band is often full of Wi-Fi and other wireless devices.
What does 32-bit float recording mean in practice?
It means that the audio is recorded with very high dynamic range, so you can adjust levels in post-processing and minimize the risk of the recording being ruined by clipping at sudden audio peaks.
Does the system have timecode?
Yes, the transmitter (TX) supports timecode sync via app (wireless) or 3.5 mm connection. This simplifies sync between audio and video in post-production.
Are the lavalier microphones durable for outdoor use?
Yes, the included miniature lavs are IP67 rated for dust and water protection and have a Kevlar-reinforced cable.
How long is the battery life?
Up to 9 hours on the transmitter and up to 8 hours on the receiver, depending on settings and usage.
