The receiver mounts on your camera and the transmitter clips to the talent or operator. Therefore, you can capture the transmitter’s audio directly to your camera or recorder while keeping the setup lightweight and portable. Because the system uses a 3.5mm connection, it integrates with a wide range of devices that accept external microphones.

Two-way talkback and real-time monitoring

The Vlink2 supports real-time talkback between the transmitter and the receiver. In practice, this means both sides can listen and speak to each other simultaneously without the talkback being recorded, while only the transmitter’s audio is captured for the main recording. In addition, both transmitter and receiver provide real-time monitoring so you can confirm audio quality and secure your takes during shoots.

Vlink2 RX Portable Receiver

The Vlink2 RX is a camera-mountable dual-channel 2.4 GHz wireless receiver. It features a high-contrast OLED display for clear status information, and a talkback function that connects back to the transmitter. The receiver uses two detachable antennas that rotate 360° to help improve reception. Moreover, you can switch the receiver’s output between mono and stereo modes, and camera operators can control talkback and monitoring independently using the receiver’s controls, including a mute button to manage communication when needed.

The Vlink2 TX is a compact body-pack transmitter with an easy-to-read OLED display and a detachable antenna. It includes a built-in rechargeable battery, plus both 3.5mm headphone and mic input jacks. These jacks let the transmitter accept audio from the included 3.5mm locking lavalier microphone and also support monitoring through headphones. The transmitter supports efficient two-way communication with the receiver, and a short press of the power button mutes the microphone between takes for quick control on set.
