The Saramonic WiTalk9-3S is a DCT-based, 3-person full-duplex wireless intercom system designed for live-event and broadcast production. It delivers clear team communication without requiring a separate hub or bodypack. The package includes headsets, rechargeable batteries, a 6-bay charging station, and a carry case for easy transport and storage.
This configuration ships with one single-ear master headset, two single-ear remote headsets, six rechargeable batteries, and a WiTalk-CB6 6-bay charging station. Therefore, you can transmit communications to all wireless headsets at a line-of-sight range up to 500 m for a wide variety of broadcast and event applications.
The WiTalk9-3S operates hands-free, so users do not need to press a push-to-talk button every time they speak. Moreover, the system supports expansion: up to 30 users via wired cascading and up to 9 users using wireless protocols. As a result, crews can scale the system without adding bulky hubs or complex hardware.
ClearTalk technology keeps team audio intelligible. The headsets use a 360° 3-microphone array with noise cancellation, and dual internal antennas for stable wireless links. In addition, the system employs proprietary encryption to keep conversations secure. Consequently, the WiTalk9-3S performs well even in noisy environments with heavy RF interference.
Saramonic designed the headsets to be lightweight, comfortable, and durable. The package includes both on-ear foam earpads and over-ear cooling-gel earpads, plus soft headband and temple pads for extended wear. Also, the headsets provide IPX5 water resistance and Level 3 wind protection, which helps in demanding outdoor environments.
You can connect the headsets to cloud meeting apps and smartphones. Specifically, the headsets link to Zoom, Teams, Skype, or phone calls by using the built-in TRRS port or Bluetooth. Thus, you can combine on-site intercom communication with remote participants on computers, smartphones, or tablets.
Use the Saramonic Master app to manage the system from a mobile device. The app lets you group and name team members, monitor battery levels, and view user status in real time. Additionally, the app provides controls for mute, 1-on-1 conversations, and broadcast-priority messages.
The system includes rechargeable batteries that support long runtimes and quick recharging. Rechargeable batteries included with the system keep a remote headset running for up to 15 hours and the master headset running for up to 9 hours on a single charge. The key specifications also list headset runtime as 10 hours / 15 hours. You can quickly release batteries and place them into the supplied 6-bay charging station for recharge, and you can recharge headsets on the fly via the USB-C port in about 3.5 hours.
