Complete solution for multi-camera on-set shooting, monitoring and post-production. The SEETEC ATEM156S-CO pairs a 15.6" Full HD display with professional SDI and HDMI connectivity and a rugged carry-on flight case to protect the monitor during travel and in harsh locations.
The ATEM156S-CO uses a 15.6-inch LCD panel with full HD resolution (1920x1080) for natural and clear images. It supports an 800:1 contrast ratio and a 170° wide viewing angle so teams can see accurate images from different positions on set.
The monitor ships in a portable aviation aluminum case designed for location work. The case provides dust-proofing, waterproofing, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. It protects the monitor during transport and on-location use in varied environments, including extreme cold or hot conditions.
The ATEM156S-CO features an innovative combined structure that allows rapid disassembly and assembly without tools. A comfortable handle makes the case easier to carry and reduces fatigue during transport. The case fastens with butterfly-style locks on the links and on the front and rear covers, combining durability with an attractive appearance.
This monitor adopts the professional Rec.709 color standard and uses factory color calibration with a professional instrument to ensure consistent color reproduction across units. A built-in 3D-LUT and color calibration tools help maintain accurate colors for production and post.
Operators can switch sources, set custom shortcuts and quickly adjust brightness, contrast and volume using the front-panel buttons. Backlit keys help you identify input sources and shortcut keys in dim studios or outdoor environments, and the unit supports quick one-button source switching.
The monitor accepts DC 12V power at 2A~3A. It also supports an XLR power connector and ships with a Sony V-mount battery plate by default. Customers can choose a Panasonic Anton plate as an optional alternative.
The monitor includes a comprehensive set of professional monitoring tools to speed up shooting and post-production workflows. You can access these tools from the menu, assign them to shortcut buttons, or control them via GPI.
The ATEM156S-CO supports 3D-LUT workflows to recreate film looks. It includes 4 built-in DE-log LUTs and lets you load custom .cube files via USB. The monitor supports loading up to 36 custom LUTs, enabling quick shifts between looks on set or in post.
HDR (high dynamic range) monitoring is supported for enhanced clarity and detail. When HDR is active, you can select Gamma and Gamut settings that correspond to manufacturers such as Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Fujifilm, Bolex, RED and ARRI.
The monitor provides broadcast-accurate waveform, vectorscope and histogram displays that can be opened separately or together. You can use RGB Parade, YUV Parade or Y Parade waveform modes, and enable one-key to open all scopes. This avoids the need for separate expensive scope devices in many live production settings.
ATEM156S-CO supports UMD using the TSL 3.1/4.0 protocol. You can select TSL addresses from 0–126 and display up to 16 letters via UMD. UMD signals input and output via the RS485 port. GPI controls provide Red and Green tally lights to indicate recording or on-air status.
Configure the screen in full-screen, picture-in-picture (PIP) or quad view to meet different monitoring needs. In PIP mode you can adjust the size and position of the sub-window. In quad view the monitor supports simultaneous display of 4 SDI channels along with 4-channel audio meters and 4 time code displays.
The monitor de-embeds audio from SDI and HDMI sources. You can select any two channels for headphone output via the 3.5mm jack. Under SDI the monitor displays up to 16 channels of embedded audio meters; under HDMI, two channels are shown.
ATEM156S-CO provides four groups of custom menu settings. These settings are saved automatically and remain in place after power-down, so you do not need to reconfigure the monitor each time you power it on.
The monitor and its aviation aluminum case are designed to handle varied environments, from cold snow to hot desert conditions, enabling you to use the ATEM156S-CO across many shooting locations.
