SEETEC T51-H — Triple 5" 2RU Rack Monitor with HDMI and AV I/O

The SEETEC T51-H is a triple 5" 2RU rack-mount monitor designed for broadcast and mobile production environments. It features three 5" 800×480 LCD screens in a thin, lightweight 2RU chassis. You can view both SD and HD video sources, and the monitor offers HDMI, CVBS and audio inputs and outputs for flexible integration into live-production racks.

Purpose and common uses

This rack monitor series suits TV news production, post production, programme broadcasting, TV broadcasting trucks, special vehicle video surveillance and similar fields. Because the T51-H often works alongside other professional equipment, it emphasizes high stability, high reliability and electromagnetic compatibility to help the whole system operate smoothly.

Display and image quality

The T51-H uses three 5" TFT LCD panels with LED backlight. Each panel has an 800×480 resolution and a specified viewing angle of Horizontal: 140° and Vertical: 120°. The panels provide a brightness of 500cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 500:1, giving clear image reference for monitoring tasks.

In addition, stereo headphone output is available for audio monitoring. For tally, the unit features front-panel LED indicators in three colors — red, green and yellow — and these are driven via DB-15 ports on the rear panel.

Key monitoring tools and on-screen functions

The T51-H includes a range of practical monitoring functions to assist camera operators and technical staff. These features help with focus, framing and image checks while remaining consistent across the product family for faster operation.

  • Peaking Focus Assist
  • Pixel to Pixel
  • Centre Marker
  • Screen Marker (80%, 85%, 90%, 93%, 96%, 2.35:1)
  • Image Flip (H, V, H/V)

Operation, stability and build

The T51-H follows a consistent design and operation mode used across the product range. Therefore, you only need to learn one operation method to use similar products, which saves time and reduces training. Because rack monitors often run continuously, the T51-H uses industrial-quality components. The full metal case enhances robustness and durability while also aiding heat dissipation for reliable, long-term operation.
