The Think Tank Mindshift BackLight Sprint is a slim, lightweight backpack designed for photographers who prefer a smaller, less bulky pack. It suits hiking or treks around town and is available in the Montane Green variant. Despite its compact silhouette, the bag holds essential camera gear while keeping the load comfortable for all-day carry.
This pack targets photographers carrying a lighter kit. It fits a standard-sized camera body plus several zoom lenses, yet retains a slim profile for easier movement. Therefore, you can take it on hikes or city shoots when you want minimal bulk without giving up core gear.
The pack combines water-resistant and strong materials to protect gear and withstand regular use. The exterior fabric has a durable water-repellent coating and a polyurethane coating on the underside. The bag also uses abrasion-resistant YKK RC-Fuse zippers, 420D Velocity nylon, 420D high-density nylon, 320G UltraStretch mesh, 350G airmesh, nylon webbing, and 3-ply bonded nylon thread.
Inside, the pack features a 210D silver-toned nylon lining, hexa-mesh pockets, high-density closed-cell foam, and PE board reinforcement, all stitched with 3-ply bonded nylon thread for strength and structure.
Check with your airline for current carry-on requirements, as regulations can change. The slim profile and rear-panel access make the BackLight Sprint both travel-friendly and secure for day-to-day shoots.

Question: Can I carry a tripod and water bottle at the same time?
Answer: Yes. The pack has two large side pockets that each fit a 32oz/950ml Nalgene bottle and can also be used to carry a tripod. Additionally, the upper compression straps help secure a tripod on either side for simplified carry.

Question: Is my gear protected in wet weather and during travel?
Answer: Yes. The exterior fabric features a durable water-repellent coating and a polyurethane underside, and the pack includes a seam-sealed rain cover. Rear-panel access also offers added security when traveling since gear stays protected behind your back.
Question: Will this pack meet airline carry-on rules?
Answer: The pack meets most international and U.S. carry-on requirements and should fit under most airline seats, but we recommend checking with your airline for current restrictions before travel.
