The Retrospective 7 V2.0 draws on a classic rucksack style and a rugged canvas build treated with a durable water-repellant (DWR) coating. Think Tank designed this bag for back-road travel and everyday use. It offers a soft, form-fitting profile while still protecting and organizing your camera gear, tablet and laptop.

Access and security that work together

The bag combines a zippered security flap under the lid with a tuck-away design for rapid top access when you need it. The back panel also provides full access to your gear, including a dedicated laptop compartment. For added discretion, select Retrospective models include hook-and-loop “Sound Silencers.”

V2.0 updates and benefits

The Retrospective V2.0 keeps the classic look but introduces improvements. It remains soft and form-fitting while being lighter than the original version. The exterior uses a durable water-repellant treatment and traditional materials chosen for a classic look and practical protection. The bag incorporates abrasion-resistant zippers and antique-plated hardware for a vintage aesthetic. Inside, reinforced dividers use closed-cell foam and PE board for structure and gear protection.
