The YoloLiv YoloBox Mini combines an encoder, monitor, recorder and multi-destination streamer into a single portable unit. It targets filmmakers and content creators who need an intuitive, compact solution for live production without relying on extra equipment.
The YoloBox Mini serves as a full live production system in a compact form. You can encode a live feed, monitor it on the built-in screen, record locally, and stream to multiple destinations from the same device. Because it integrates these functions, you won’t need many external components for simple and medium-complexity productions.
It also includes a built-in restreaming service and native integrations with major streaming platforms, allowing you to add graphic overlays and forward your feed to supported destinations.
The 5.5" touchscreen provides a direct interface for switching, overlay control and recording. Running on Android OS, the touchscreen lets you access menus and templates quickly. This makes live production tasks such as switching PiP templates, inserting overlays, or starting/stopping recordings straightforward with touch interactions.
The device includes multiple overlay options that you can edit and apply to live streams. It supports:
These features let you present a more polished, branded broadcast without separate graphics hardware.
The Mini accepts local video from HDMI and USB-A sources. It offers an HDMI output for confidence monitoring and an audio out for headphones. You can record your stream directly to an SD card in MP4 format, which supports common workflows for post-production.
Use the line-in to connect audio devices such as synthesizers, or mic-in for direct microphone input. The unit supports both embedded digital audio and analog connections.
The YoloBox Mini connects to the internet via RJ45 (Ethernet), dual-band Wi‑Fi (2.4G/5G) or an optional nano‑SIM for 4G LTE. The device can first push your feed to the YoloLIV platform and then forward it automatically to up to three destinations simultaneously.
You don’t have to be live to use the YoloBox Mini. It also functions as a monitor and recorder for switching, adding overlays and producing content locally. Additionally, you can play pre-recorded content from an SD card for intros, countdowns or B-roll, and even load a PDF as a local source.
The unit offers native integration with major streaming platforms such as Facebook Live, YouTube and Twitch. You can log into your social account directly on the device to begin streaming.
The YoloBox Mini includes an internal battery that provides approximately 2 hours of operation. It charges through the USB‑C port, which is used for power only. The device supports multiple input power options for flexibility in different setups.
If you require more HDMI inputs and advanced video switching features, consider the YoloBox Pro model for expanded capabilities.
